12v Power Supply Distribution

I’m sure, like many others, I have numerous plug transformers in a multi-gang expansion socket. I want to replace this with a mains-voltage-to-12V-DC transformer of appropriate wattage and distribute the output to multiple devices.

Has anyone done something similar and come across a good, compact, aesthetically pleasing solution?

I’m using a little solar panel with battery that also supports a SwitchBot Switch for the opening of the gate. Just in case there is no power when I’m back home.

Hello, unfortunately the T2 relay only supports 24 volts. We hope that in the future Aqara will change it to 12 volts, or better yet, 5 volts (power banks are a reserve).

I’ve used a USB-C charger with multiple outputs, and then USB-C → barrel jack (adjustable voltage) cables.

Never thought of that. I assume USB-C because it supports multiple output voltages under the Power Delivery standard. Although, from reading a couple of blogs, it suggests the 12V output profile is limited to 18W

Ive got a few of these 60W (5A) 12V cables USB Type C 3.1 PD to 5.5mm Barrel Jack Cable - 1.2m long with E-Mark

The limit is usually the charger but there are good chargers out there that will do at least 3A @ 12V
