Problems/questions:

  1. After detection it just start recording for 12 seconds. The only thing i can do is to set detection to permanent, so after a short pause it starts a new recording for 12 sec.
    My expectation: as long as something is detected and still visible it does not end recording (+ x Seconds after, in case objects comes Back), x with own value.
  2. I choosed to use local NAS.
    I was not able to choose a subfolder. At least topfolder
  3. I still see the Videos unser cloud…not as a NAS

What can i do?

Same here. But weird is, if i use HKSV it will recording as long as there is motion. Dont know why Aqara app use only 12sec long recordings.

There doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason to how long it records. I have all of mine (7 of them) running to a local NAS (WD 5TB drive) and the majority of then are 12 seconds. I see a few that are 24 seconds, one or two that are 30 seconds and one that is over 1 minute in length.

This sounds strange. I mostly use it whit HKSV, but was looking to connect to a NAS, but clips with 12 seconds does not make sense. I know my G5 with detection can determine if the activity is the same or a new. If you set detection to 30 seconds, you get notifications every 30 seconds, even if I haven’t moved from the camera.
