A Colorful Journey with Smart Lighting and Shelly PlugS

Hello everyone! I thought I’d share a little project I’ve been working on with my Shelly PlugS and RGBW PM module. I’ve been experimenting with creating custom color gradients for my LED lights, and it’s been a fascinating journey. I started with some basic setups, but I quickly realized that understanding color theory and how different hues interact is key to achieving the right ambiance. Sometimes, pairing complementary colors works wonders, while other times, a monochromatic approach with varying saturations feels just right. I’ve even tried integrating green tones into my gradients, though I must admit, it’s been a bit of a challenge to get them to blend seamlessly with other colors.

I’d love to hear from others who have mastered creating beautiful color transitions. What tools or methods do you use to design your gradients? Also, I came across a project where someone hacked their heated mattress pad using an Arduino board, which got me thinking about how I could integrate similar smart features into my home. If anyone has experience with Arduino and SmartThings, I’d appreciate any insights or tips!

On a lighter note, I recently picked up a Govee product, and it’s been a delightful addition to my setup. The community’s enthusiasm for these devices is truly inspiring. If anyone has any fun or creative ways they’ve used their Govee devices, I’d love to hear about them!

As always, thanks for reading, and I look forward to your thoughts and experiences. Happy experimenting! :star2:
