Hey everyone! I just wanted to share a fun DIY project I recently completed using my Govee LED lights. I’ve been a fan of Govee for a while now, and their products have always been reliable and easy to use. This time, I decided to create a custom light display for my home office. ![]()

The idea came to me when I noticed that my workspace felt a bit too dull. I thought adding some dynamic lighting could really brighten up the space and make it more inviting. I decided to go with the Govee H610B Glide Music LED Wall Lights because they’re perfect for creating a vibrant atmosphere and they sync with music, which is a huge plus for my music-loving self. ![]()

Here’s a quick overview of what I did:
- I started by planning the layout. I wanted the lights to run along the length of my desk, so I measured the space and decided on the spacing between each light strip.
- Next, I installed the strips using the adhesive backing provided. It was super easy and took less than 15 minutes!
- I connected everything to my home network and used the Govee app to customize the settings. I played around with different color modes and music sync options until I found the perfect combination.
- To add a personal touch, I created a custom scene in the app that changes the color scheme based on the time of day. It’s now my morning alarm clock!

The result is amazing! My workspace now feels like a mini entertainment hub, and I love how the lights change with the music. Plus, it’s been a great conversation starter when friends come over. ![]()

If you’re thinking about trying something similar, I’d recommend starting small and experimenting with different setups. The Govee app makes it so easy to tweak settings, and there’s a huge community online where you can get inspiration and tips. ![]()
