What an incredible journey my wife and I embarked on! Our honeymoon in Japan was nothing short of magical, especially given the timing—during Golden Week and the beginning of the Reiwa era. 
벚:cherry_blossom:The experience began with a serendipitous encounter. We found ourselves on the same flight as a family from our church, whom we barely knew. Little did we know, this chance meeting would lead to a beautiful friendship! 
Our adventure kicked off in Tokyo, where we were treated to the vibrant celebrations marking the Imperial succession. The nation was alive with joy, and the festive atmosphere was truly unforgettable. From Tokyo, we traveled to the breathtaking Hoshinoya Fuji glamping resort, nestled near Fujikawaguchiko. For three days, we were greeted by stunning views of Mount Fuji, making every moment feel like a postcard come to life. 
Golden Week in 2019 was extra special, as it coincided with the historic transition of the Imperial era. The extended holiday period allowed us to immerse ourselves in Japan’s culture and traditions, from the vibrant festivals to the serene temples. Every corner of the country seemed to be celebrating, creating an atmosphere of unity and joy.Reflecting on this incredible experience, we feel so lucky to have been part of such a historic moment. Japan’s beauty, culture, and hospitality left an indelible mark on our hearts. We can’t wait to return and explore more of this amazing country!
