After reading through various topics on this forum, I was inspired to try something new with my home setup. I’ve been using a mix of Philips Hue and IKEA Tradfri bulbs, and I must say, the combination has been fantastic!One of the challenges I faced was getting all my devices to work seamlessly together. I found that using the Homey app helped bridge the gap between different brands. It was a bit of a learning curve, but with some trial and error, I managed to create a cohesive system. For instance, setting up a routine where my Hue bulbs dim when I turn on my Tradfri soundbar was a great way to enhance my movie nights.I’d like to share a tip I discovered while setting this up: using IFTTT to automate scenes based on my routines. For example, when I leave the house, my lights dim and then turn off after a few minutes.
