A Week of Discoveries and Delights in Smart Lighting

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a bit about my recent experiences with smart lighting. It’s been a whirlwind week filled with both challenges and triumphs.

First, I’ve been diving into the world of Govee lights. Their Neon Wall Rope Lights have been a fantastic addition to my space, creating a vibrant ambiance that’s hard to beat. I’m also thrilled to be part of the Govee Strip Light 2 Pro testing program—can’t wait to see how this one performs!

On the flip side, I’ve encountered a few hurdles. My ZigBee under-cabinet lights have been a bit temperamental lately. While they work perfectly when I enter the kitchen, sometimes they take their sweet time turning on or stay on long after I’ve left. I’ve been digging into the debug logs to figure out what’s causing the delays. It seems like some commands are timing out, which is a bit frustrating. I’m hoping to find a solution soon—maybe adjusting the timeout settings or checking the signal strength.

Another thing I’ve been tinkering with is setting up a task that triggers at sunset, but no later than 7 PM. It’s been a fun challenge figuring out the logic in my automation software. I’d love to hear if anyone has tips or tricks for making this work seamlessly!

Overall, it’s been a week of learning and growth. The community here has been invaluable, and I’m grateful for all the support and shared knowledge. If anyone has insights on optimizing ZigBee performance or perfecting sunset-triggered tasks, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Cheers to another week of smart home adventures! :rocket:
