Abnormality Message

I have a G3, two G5 Pro’s, a G410 doorbell and several original window and door sensors integrated with Apple Home. When I activate a standard Away or Night mode in the Aqara app the mode does change but I receive the following message: “Abnormal situation detected during arming check”. I can’t find anything wrong while reviewing settings in the app. Has anyone had the same experience or can you help me diagnose the abnormaility>

Hello, welcome to the forum. Look at Figure 4,5,6,7, lesson 2. You may see the enabled control that is activated when the security is started. Lesson 2 Setting up the APP security system (security system trigger settings options)

Thanks for your insights. I’m not quite sure what you want me to see in your illustrations. Hopefully a screen shot will upload here that displays what I see below the error message. No solution found yet.

Click here and select “not at home”

What do you have enabled here?

Here is what I have set for away mode. If I scroll through the list of items in image 1, everything is closed, as they should be. Not sure what you mean by not at home. See my images.

Show me what you have selected there.

So I can’t open each item with an arrow at the same time but here is a screenshot of the first item. As i scroll through each of them i see varying degrees of sensor strength but all batteries are normal. Signal strength ranges from excellent to weak on some contacts. The windows they are attached to have metal frames which i have just learned can interfere with zigbee signals. There isnt a way in which i can avoid that. I would have liked to know that fact before they were bought. Some are only twenty feet away from a hub. Would that be the abnormality issue?

I am interested in these settings.

I have all of the window and door contacts set to closed in the away and night modes. If I understand correctly if any one of these contacts were to open the alarm would be activated. Am i correct?

Yes, I just wanted to see a screenshot of this setting from you.

At the bottom of my dashboard, under the alert system tile and the camera tiles, the contacts appear. They were all set in the two previously mentioned modes to “is closed”. What is the significance of the date and times that appear in the sensor tiles? Is that an indication of an abnormality?

You misunderstood me. Go to the security APP settings according to screens 1-4. I am interested in what screen 4 shows.

You do not have an alarm panel installed.
Fig. 1.

Do this according to lesson 1, Lesson 1 Setting up the security system APP (adding a card with a security panel).

The issue is resolved, set it up like on my screen and everything will be okay. All sensors need to be set up like this.
You should have a function that will turn on the alarm, and that is “open”.

To which screen are you referring? All I see at the moment text in your reply. 15/16

Just saw panel 14/17. I doo have an alarm panel installed.
