Is there a possibility there will be an AC 100-240 V option for the G5.
I am very happy with my first G5. But for other places around the house I only have 230V cable.
I know there are converters like the one in link. But I rather not see the converter in a weatherproof box on my wall.

@vanhee_kenny Thank you for your interest in the Smart Camera G5 Pro! Currently, the G5 Pro supports power input through USB-C and, for the PoE version, Power over Ethernet (PoE) as well. Unfortunately, there is no direct AC 100-240 V option available for this model, and the reference information doesn’t indicate any upcoming changes to this power supply method.
I understand the desire for a more seamless installation without additional converters. While converters are a viable solution, I agree that they can be cumbersome. Your feedback is valuable, and I encourage you to share it with the community or directly with Aqara, as it could inspire future product developments.

@vanhee_kenny Thank you for sharing your experience with the G5 Pro and your feedback on the power supply needs. Currently, the G5 Pro (both PoE and Wi-Fi versions) supports power input via USB-C (5V 2A), and the PoE version additionally supports PoE (48V 0.27A) power supply . We don’t have information on an AC 100-240V option at this time.
