Add a condition witch compares two Aqara T° sensors values to trigger

I wish i could make an automation (or a scene, don’t know which) which would say that IF my inside temperature sensor sees a T° which is higher than my outside temperature sensor one, THEN it would allow Alexa to start my ceiling fan, open my shutter…

@FR_FrenchPhiliP I understand you’re looking to create an automation where your inside temperature sensor compares its value with an outside temperature sensor to trigger actions like starting your ceiling fan or opening your shutter. Currently, the Aqara system supports a range of sensors and devices, as well as integration with third-party Matter devices. However, directly comparing values from two separate temperature sensors as a condition for triggering an automation isn’t explicitly detailed in the provided reference information.

To achieve your goal, you might consider using a workaround by setting specific temperature thresholds for each sensor that align with your desired conditions. After setting these thresholds, you can create separate automations: one for when the inside temperature exceeds its threshold and another for when the outside temperature is below its threshold. This setup might not directly compare the two sensor values but can simulate the desired effect by leveraging their thresholds.

Additionally, integrating Alexa for executing tasks like starting the ceiling fan or opening the shutter will require ensuring that your devices are compatible and set up properly within the Alexa app.

The only “specific temperature thresholds” that could be set for my specrific need, is the minimum T° i want to have inside so that the trigger wouldn’t exectute if the inside T° is under.

@FR_FrenchPhiliP It sounds like you’re keen on fine-tuning your automation settings to ensure that your fan or shutter only operates when the inside temperature is above a certain level. While the reference information doesn’t provide a direct method to compare two sensors, you can indeed set a minimum temperature threshold for your inside sensor. This way, your automation will only trigger actions if the inside temperature exceeds this set point. This setup ensures that your fan or shutter won’t activate if the inside temperature is below your desired comfort level, aligning with your specific needs.

Feel free to experiment with these thresholds and adjust them according to your comfort preferences. If you have any more questions or need help fine-tuning this setup, the community is here to support you!

Hello, thank you for the suggestion. I would also like such a condition to exist, unfortunately I think such an algorithm automation is impossible at this stage. Please help answer this question @AqaraOfficial
