Adding Door/Window Sensors and Wyze Mesh Router Without Subscription

Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of home automation and thought I’d share my recent experiences with adding door/window sensors and integrating a Wyze mesh router—all without a subscription. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but I’m thrilled with how it’s come together!

I currently have four Ring V3 cameras set up and have been using self-monitoring, which has been working great. My next goal was to enhance security by adding sensors to my doors and windows. I’ve heard that Ring’s system is pretty robust, but I wanted to make sure I could add these sensors without any subscription fees. After some research, I found that it’s totally doable! The setup process was straightforward, and I couldn’t be happier with how seamless it was.

Now, onto the Wyze mesh router. I’ve been using Wyze cameras for a while now, and they’ve been a lifesaver. I was curious if I could integrate their mesh router into my setup without shelling out for a subscription. After some digging, it turns out you can! The integration process was a bit tricky at first, but with a little patience, I got it up and running. It’s been a game-changer for my home’s connectivity.

I’d love to hear if anyone else has had similar experiences or if there are any tips you’d like to share. It’s amazing how much you can do with these systems without the added cost of subscriptions. Happy automating everyone! :rocket:
