Hi all, I wanted to share my experience with advanced flows in Homey. While I find the usability and organization of advanced flows to be a great improvement, I’ve noticed a significant difference in response time compared to normal flows. For instance, when using a Hue 4-button light switch to trigger a dimming action, the advanced flow takes almost 3 seconds to execute, whereas the normal flow completes the task in about 1-2 seconds. This delay is noticeable and affects the overall user experience.
I’ve tested this by using the ‘test’ button in the Homey interface, and the difference in response time remains consistent. I suspect that the queue bar at the bottom of the interface, which runs from 0 to 100%, might be contributing to the delay, especially as the complexity of the advanced flow increases. I’m wondering if there are any optimizations or settings I can adjust to improve the execution speed of advanced flows.
I’m using a Homey Pro from early 2019, with approximately 40% storage and 65% memory usage. I’m curious if others have experienced similar issues or if there are known workarounds to enhance performance. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.
