I’m new to home automation and trying to get my Aeon HEM Gen5 working with Vera Edge. Unfortunately, it’s been a bit of a challenge. The device doesn’t seem to be communicating properly with Vera Edge—I’m not getting any data, and some functions aren’t responding consistently. It’s frustrating because I expected newer devices to work out of the box without needing to dive deep into coding or troubleshooting.
I’ve noticed that the 6-in-1 sensor from Aeon G5 isn’t fully functional either. It responds about 50% of the time, which isn’t reliable enough for my needs. I’m wondering if there are any workarounds or settings adjustments that could help improve this situation.
Has anyone else had similar issues with Aeon devices? I’d love to hear your experiences and any tips you might have. Maybe there’s a configuration I’m missing or a different approach to getting these devices to work seamlessly.
I’m really hoping to get this sorted so I can fully enjoy the benefits of home automation without constantly troubleshooting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
