Hey everyone, I’m reaching out regarding my experience with the Aeotec Multisensor 5. I’ve been using these sensors for a while now, and they’ve been a great addition to my smart home setup. However, I’ve encountered an issue that I’m hoping someone might have some insights on.
I’ve noticed that whenever I try to adjust the motion sensor’s on-time or the reporting interval through the Z-Wave Manager, the changes don’t seem to stick. The values revert back to their previous settings, even if I increase them. This has been a bit frustrating, especially since I was previously able to make these adjustments using OZWCP. Unfortunately, after a recent reboot, HA deleted the entire Z-Wave configuration, forcing me to start over.
I’m wondering if there’s a specific method or setting I might be missing that could help these adjustments take hold. I’ve tried following the manufacturer’s guidelines and even looked into some community forums, but I haven’t found a solution yet. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!
In the meantime, I’m continuing to experiment with different settings and configurations. I’m also keeping a close eye on the sensor’s performance to see if there are any patterns or additional insights I can gather.
