Hi everyone, I’m an electrician who recently installed some Aeotec Nano Dimmers for a customer. Overall, they work well once we identified the correct switch type, but the dimming range isn’t performing as expected. The customer is using a Vera system and tried adjusting the dimming range from 1% to 100% in the software, but the light output only changes by about 10%. When dimming from 1% to 0%, it goes from about 90% brightness to off. This seems similar to issues I’ve heard about with leading-edge dimmers used on LED lights. I’m wondering if this is the case here and if there’s a way to adjust the dimming settings in Vera or Aeotec’s software to improve the range. We’ve tested this with two different LED lights, and both have the same result. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your help.
