Hi everyone, I’ve been having some trouble with my Aeotec Dual Nano Z-Wave+ switches. They’ve been working perfectly for over two years, but recently, about half of them started acting up. They become slow, unresponsive, and eventually go offline. I’ve tried everything I can think of to fix them, but nothing seems to work. I’d really appreciate any advice or insights from the community.
First, some background: I have eight of these switches installed throughout my house. They’ve been on stock Device Handlers (DHs) and are now on stock Edge drivers. The issue started a few weeks ago without any changes to the Z-Wave network or any other devices. The only way to get them back online is to physically bring them close to the hub, exclude them, and include them again. But once they’re back in their original positions, they go offline again.
I’ve tried numerous network repairs, hub reboots, and power cycling the switches, but the same error persists—no route. I’ve also added new Aeotec extenders near the switches, but that didn’t help either. I even tested a brand-new switch, and it had the same issue. I’m starting to think that something might have changed in how the Z-Wave network operates, possibly due to hub firmware updates or other environmental factors.
I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced similar problems with Aeotec Nano Switches or other Z-Wave+ devices. Have there been any recent changes or updates that might affect their performance? I’m also curious if others have found solutions or workarounds for this issue. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you all for your time and help. I’m really hoping to get these switches working reliably again.
