Aeotec Smart Dimmer: Restoring Full Brightness After Scenes

Hey everyone, I’ve been using the Aeotec smart dimmers for a while now, and they’ve been working great for the most part. I’ve set up some scenes to control the lighting in my living room, which has been super convenient. However, I’ve noticed an issue that’s been a bit of a nuisance. When I use the wall switch to turn the lights on after having used a scene, the lights don’t go back to full brightness—they instead go to the last level set by the scene. This has been a bit frustrating, especially when I just want the lights to come on at full brightness after adjusting them via a scene.

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue and if there’s a way to configure the dimmer so that it goes back to 100% when using the wall switch. It would be great if there’s a setting or workaround that can make this happen without having to manually adjust the brightness every time. I’ve looked through the settings on the hub and the dimmer itself, but I haven’t found anything that seems to address this specific behavior.

Has anyone else had this experience? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’d love to find a solution that allows me to keep using scenes while still having the option to go back to full brightness with the wall switch. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
