Alarm Triggered in Disarm Mode - Seeking Solutions

Hey everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone has encountered and resolved an issue I’m currently facing with my smart home setup. A few days ago, I noticed that my alarm system went off even though it was supposed to be in disarm mode. Let me walk you through what happened and what I’ve tried so far.

It all started when my child came home and used her tag to unlock the door. Everything seemed to work as intended—the presence sensor detected her, the ‘I’m Back’ routine kicked in, and the alarm was supposed to disarm. However, the alarm still triggered, and it appears the door sensor was the culprit. I’ve checked the logs, and here’s what I found:

  • 4:15 PM: Lock was unlocked using a code.
  • 4:15 PM: Entry door opened.
  • 4:15 PM: ‘I’m Back’ routine executed, which disarms the alarm.
  • 4:15 PM: Alarm status turned off.

Despite these steps, the alarm still went off. I’m wondering if this is a known issue with the smart home manager (SHM) or if there’s a timing problem. I’ve tried resetting the system, checking the sensors, and reviewing the logs, but I’m still stuck. Has anyone experienced something similar and found a fix?

I’d greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions you might have. Let’s see if we can figure this out together! :handshake:
