Alexa and Sonos Integration Issues: Seeking Solutions

Hey everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone has encountered and resolved the issue I’m facing with Alexa and my Sonos system. Here’s the situation: My Sonos setup, which includes several Play-1 speakers, was working perfectly until I had to replace my router with a BT Smart Hub 2. After the replacement, I had to re-register the speakers with the Sonos app, and now they work fine through the Sonos app. However, the Alexa app can no longer detect my Sonos speakers, even though it finds all my other devices. This is quite frustrating because I rely on Alexa for seamless integration with my smart home setup.

I’ve tried reinstalling the Alexa app multiple times, linking it to my Sonos account, and even deleting the Amazon shopping app, as I read that it can sometimes cause conflicts. Sonos has also looked into the issue but hasn’t found a solution yet. I’m starting to suspect that Alexa might be detecting the speakers but hiding them for some reason. Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone have a workaround or solution?

Additionally, I’m curious if others have faced similar issues with integrating Sonos and Alexa. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing or a specific way to reset the Alexa app to start fresh. I’m hoping the community can shed some light on this. Thanks in advance for your help!
