Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone has encountered and resolved an issue with the Alexa iPhone app. Until recently, I was able to click the Alexa icon in the lower right corner of the app, and it would automatically start listening for my voice commands. It was incredibly convenient, just like talking to an Echo device. However, now when I click the icon, instead of listening, it brings up a text entry box for me to type my command. This change is quite inconvenient, and I’m not sure how to revert it back to the original functionality.
I’ve tried restarting the app and even my iPhone, but the issue persists. I’m hoping someone in the community has encountered this and knows a fix. I’d really appreciate any advice or steps I can take to get the voice command feature working again. Thanks in advance for your help!
