Hi all, I recently upgraded my garage door system with a Meross garage opener and integrated it with Alexa. It’s been a great addition, but there’s one issue that’s been bugging me. I set up routines for Alexa to announce when the garage door opens or closes, which works perfectly when the door actually moves. However, sometimes Alexa randomly says, ‘Garage Door Is Now Closed’ even when the door hasn’t moved at all. This happens especially at night and it’s a bit unsettling!
I’ve tried troubleshooting by checking the connectivity and ensuring the Meross app is up to date. I also reset the device and the Alexa app, but the issue persists. My theory is that maybe Alexa is misinterpreting some signal or there’s a temporary connectivity glitch, but I’m not entirely sure. Has anyone else experienced something similar or have any tips to resolve this? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
