Hi everyone, I’m facing a bit of a challenge with my Alexa skill after a recent migration. I’ve been using Alexa to control my smart home devices for years, and it’s been working perfectly. However, after the migration, I noticed that none of my devices were visible on Alexa anymore. This is quite frustrating because I rely on voice control for convenience, especially for tasks like turning off lights before bed.
I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps, including unlinking and relinking the Alexa skill, running rediscovery multiple times, and even performing a Z-Wave repair. Despite all these efforts, the issue persists—Alexa still doesn’t find any new devices. I’ve reached out to SmartThings support, but the solutions they’ve suggested so far haven’t worked.
I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue and if there are any workarounds or additional steps I can take to resolve it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
In the meantime, I’m exploring alternative methods to regain control over my devices without relying solely on Alexa. If anyone has tips or alternative setups that have worked for them, I’d love to hear about them.
