I recently installed the Aqara Camera G100 and was initially very impressed with its performance. Within the first couple of weeks, it consistently detected me parking and leaving my vehicle, working correctly 3 out of 4 times. However, after some tweaking, including updating the firmware and adjusting settings in the Aqara app, the detection seems to have almost stopped. Despite setting up HomeKit to alert on vehicles, people, animals, and packages, and to record all motion, the camera now barely detects anything. For instance, it completely missed me arriving home from work, mowing the lawn, and leaving for work the next morning. I’m puzzled as to what’s causing this issue. I’ve tried resetting the camera and only adding it to HomeKit, but that didn’t help. The camera has a decent Wi-Fi signal, and opening the stream in the app works instantly. I’m considering whether it’s a problem with the camera itself, my Apple TV 4K Gen 2, or my Wi-Fi connection. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I’m hopeful there’s a fix out there, and I’d love to hear how others have resolved similar issues. ![]()
