I would install the system under my roof, in a spot where I wouldn’t have a power outlet, but otherwise I’d prefer to stay within the Aqara ecosystem and I’d also like to test the device thoroughly and write a review.

I would use it in the garden or in the back yard, where I do not have POE available (yet) as an addition to current Aqara and Reolink cameras that I use.

Wow, this is a fantastic opportunity! My newly built house will be ready in two weeks and is fully equipped with PoE throughout, so I could potentially test this setup in any of the five outdoor locations around my property: the driveway, backyard, front yard, side yard, or external storage room.

I’d love to try this. I’m actually looking to upgrade my current Anker/Eufy Wi-Fi based system to a POE + local setup, preferably by Aqara. This’d be a great start and I’m super happy to test out the capabilities and compare them to other cameras I’ve used.

And it will overlook my backyard, garden and driveway. A solid mounting wall exists as well as direct sunlight for charging. Home has solid WiFi 7 with 3 band coverage and also POE is existing for the security station.

I would love to apply for the exclusive trial of the Aqara Camera G510 and Security Station M410!
I’m a passionate Aqara user from France, and over the past few years, I’ve been transforming my family home into a fully connected smart home using the Aqara ecosystem.
I’ve attached a real photograph of my house, where I would love to install and test the new G510 camera.
As you can see, my property offers an excellent real-world testing environment, with a garden, a main entrance, a terrace, several access points, and different outdoor lighting conditions.
My installation plan:
I would install the G510 on the exterior of my house, positioned to monitor the main entrance, the access path and part of the garden.
This would allow me to evaluate:
- 2.5K image quality, during both daytime and nighttime.
- AI detection accuracy for people, animals and vehicles, especially with my cat moving around the property.
- Solar charging and battery autonomy under real French weather conditions.
- 24/7 recording capabilities with the Security Station M410.
- Local video storage, privacy and reliability.
- Apple Home, Matter and Aqara Home integration, including smart home automations.
Why I would be a great tester:
My home already includes a substantial Aqara installation, featuring:
- Aqara Camera Hub G3, G2H Pro and Camera G5 Pro.
- Aqara Hub M3 and MagicPad S1 Plus.
- Aqara smart lighting, H2 EU switches, motion and presence sensors.
- Numerous personalized automations for lighting, security and everyday comfort.
The new G510 and M410 would complement my existing setup perfectly and allow me to explore how Aqara’s next-generation security products work together.
I also enjoy experimenting with new Aqara products, identifying opportunities for improvement and sharing constructive feedback.
I was recently selected to test Aqara’s outdoor string lights, which makes me even more excited about contributing to the Aqara community.

Hi Aqara team,
I’d love to test the G510 + M410 combo.
My home already runs largely on Aqara, with more than 50 devices and a couple of indoor cameras. For outdoor cameras I currently use another brand, so I’m managing two separate apps and can’t combine everything in one set of automations. Having it all on one platform would be a big improvement.
What it would replace: My current outdoor cameras from another brand. The M410 would also take over from my camera hub as the main hub. I’m looking for a dedicated, reliable hub with local storage and battery backup, rather than a camera that doubles as a hub.
Where I’d install the G510: Outdoors, covering an entrance area. It gets plenty of sun, so it would be a good test of the solar panel.
I’m happy to post a detailed review covering setup, detection, solar performance and how it works alongside my existing Aqara devices.

I’m particularly interested in seeing how Aqara’s new security system compares to my current Eufy setup, especially when it comes to detection accuracy, notification speed, video quality, and local recording.
Since the camera would monitor my main entrance, it would be an ideal location for testing real-world performance with visitors, deliveries, and everyday activity.
I’d especially like to evaluate:
- Detection accuracy: Person and vehicle detection, false alerts, and notification speed.
- Battery and solar performance: How well the G510 performs during Romania’s colder, cloudier autumn and winter months.
