How have you guys set things up if you’re using the Aqara Ceiling Light T1M?

Right now, I only have a regular wall switch, which I leave turned on because I want to use the secondary light to glow red whenever a certain door is left open. Instead, I use an Aqara Wireless Mini Switch T1 to turn the light on and off.

The problem is that my wife turns the power to the light off using the wall switch, which means it no longer works as intended.

You could replace the wall switch with a Light Switch H2 in decoupled mode which disables the on/off relay. Then rely purely on automations to turn the light on/off.

Or if you have no-neutral wiring replace it with a Wireless Remote Switch H1 and use a terminal block to join the 2 live wires together, effectively making the circuit always on.
