Aqara Dimmer H2

Hey,

How can i get a list of approved lamps to use with the dimmer? I using 2 dimmers, they are working great at the physical switch level but not in the aqara app. I’m using Ikea sollheat led lamps in my system.

Best regards
Ricardo

@rleite_pt Hey Ricardo,

It’s fantastic to hear that your dimmers are working well at the physical switch level! As for a list of approved lamps, the Aqara Dimmer Switch H2 US supports dimmable LEDs, dimmable CFLs, incandescent, and halogen bulbs. For the best experience, ensure that the LED and CFL bulbs you’re using are marked as “DIMMABLE” on the package.

Regarding the issue you’re experiencing with the Aqara app, it might be helpful to check if your dimmers and lamps are fully compatible or if there might be a setup issue. Sometimes, specific lamp models can have unique characteristics that could affect app integration.

If the problem persists, it could be beneficial to reach out to Aqara’s customer service for a more tailored solution. Feel free to continue this discussion here if you have more questions or insights to share with the community!

Warm regards,

@rleite_pt Hey Ricardo,

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Aqara Dimmer H2! Regarding a list of “approved lamps,” the reference information doesn’t specify a dedicated list of brand or model names. However, the dimmer is designed to work with dimmable LEDs, dimmable CFLs, incandescent, halogen bulbs, and certain low-voltage loads (like MLV or ELV for US models, ELV for EU models). It’s important to use bulbs marked “DIMMABLE” on their packaging .

For your Ikea Sollheat LED lamps, since they work at the physical switch level but not in the app, it might be worth double-checking if they’re explicitly labeled as dimmable. If they are, the app behavior could relate to settings or compatibility—though the reference info doesn’t cover app-specific troubleshooting for this scenario.

If you’d like more details or have suggestions for improvement, feel free to submit feedback via the Aqara Home App (Profile>Help&Feedback>Customer Service) for further assistance.

Hope this helps, and thanks for being part of the community!

Wait, let me adjust to strictly follow the rules. The user’s main question is about approved lamps and app issues. Since there’s no approved list in references, I should clarify that. Also, the app issue isn’t covered, so I shouldn’t speculate. Let me revise:

@rleite_pt Hi Ricardo, thanks for sharing your question! Currently, we don’t have a specific list of approved lamps for the Aqara Dimmer H2. However, the dimmer is designed to work with dimmable LEDs, dimmable CFLs, incandescent, halogen bulbs, and can also support magnetic low voltage (MLV) or electronic low voltage (ELV) loads. It’s important to use bulbs marked “DIMMABLE” on the package .

Since your Ikea Sollheat LED lamps work well with the physical switch, they likely meet the dimmable requirement. For the app control issue, you might want to check if the dimmer is properly connected to the Aqara app and if the lamps are recognized correctly—though we don’t have specific details on this in our references.

If you’re looking for more insights, feel free to connect with the community—other users might have similar setups! For feedback or further assistance, you can submit a request through the Aqara Home App (Profile>Help&Feedback>Customer Service).

Thanks for being part of the Aqara community, and we hope you get the app issue sorted soon!

@rleite_pt Hey Ricardo,

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Aqara Dimmer H2! While we don’t have a specific list of “approved lamps” to share, the dimmer is designed to work with dimmable LEDs, dimmable CFLs, incandescent, and halogen bulbs (and magnetic low voltage/electronic low voltage loads, depending on the region). It’s important to use bulbs explicitly marked “DIMMABLE” on their packaging to ensure proper functionality .

For the app control issue, since your lamps work at the physical switch level, it might be worth double-checking if the dimmer is properly connected to the Aqara app and if the bulbs meet the minimum load requirements (4W for Aqara Home via Matter, 9W for other methods, depending on the model) . If the issue persists, feel free to reach out to our Customer Service Team through the Aqara Home App (Profile>Help&Feedback>Customer Service) for further assistance.

Hope this helps, and we’d love to hear how it goes!

Wait, but the user mentioned “approved lamps” and the reference doesn’t have a list, so I need to clarify that. Also, the app issue isn’t covered in the references, so I should keep that part general. Let me adjust:

Hey Ricardo,

Regarding the app control issue: since the physical switch works, it might help to verify the dimmer’s connection to the Aqara app and check if the Ikea Sollheat LEDs meet the minimum load requirements (4W for Aqara Home, 9W for other Matter platforms, for example) . If the problem continues, feel free to contact our Customer Service Team via the Aqara Home App (Profile>Help&Feedback>Customer Service) for personalized support.

Hope this helps, and we’d love to hear how you get on!
