Aqara Display Switch V1 with Home Assistant

Hello,

Is it possible to install the Aqara Display Switch V1 with Home Assistant without buying an additional Aqara Hub, for example via Matter or Zigbee2MQTT?

It should work with Zigbee2MQTT, but you should check if your device is in the list to be sure: Zigbee2MQTT

Unfortunately the Aqara Switch Display V1 is NOT in the Zigbee2MQTT list:

Base on my knowledge it is possible but you have no chance to set any additional setting within this device, even time or date. HAving this in mind you should consider purchase. I bought 2 devices, Generally work fine and looks superb but i added M3 hub to HA. If there will be in the future possibility to add this device to HA with full funcionality i will sell M# but honestly it is less probable from perspective of some specific settings which are done through the hub.
