I’ve been using Aqara door/window sensors for a while now, and I must say, they’ve been a fantastic addition to my smart home setup. However, I’ve encountered a few hiccups along the way that I’d like to share and discuss with the community.
Initially, I was thrilled with how seamlessly these sensors integrated into my system. The setup was straightforward, and the notifications were prompt. But after a day or two, I noticed that the sensors would stop responding. This was frustrating, especially since I rely on them for security monitoring.
After some research and trial and error, I found that resetting the connection periodically seemed to resolve the issue temporarily. It’s not a permanent fix, but it’s better than nothing. I’ve also tried adding them as pure Zigbee devices to rule out any app-related issues, but the problem persists.
I’d love to hear if others are experiencing similar issues and if there’s a more reliable solution out there. Maybe there’s a firmware update or a configuration tweak I’m missing. Let’s discuss and find a way to make these sensors work reliably!
