I would like to know if it’s possible to install it horizontally. If not, is there going to be a software solution or a product version that supports horizontal installation? I am sure there are quite few people like that can’t install it vertically.

Hello, it is very unfortunate that you encountered a problem with the standard installation of the G410 doorbell, indeed, there is no such option now (you cannot select the location in the G410 settings). Please send me where you want to place the G410 and why it cannot be done in a vertical position. I will forward your feedback to the aqara team and they will consider your proposal. Thank you
