Hi, Is there a way to reduce the frequency of the valve adjustments once the radiator reaches the set temperature. Overnight this constant adjustment is noisy and happens every few minutes.
I will look at using an external temperature sensor, but this issue makes the thermostat unsuitable for bedrooms.
I am using Hubitat to set the heating schedule. However there don’t appear to be any thermostat settings to reduce the temperature check frequency or stop it adjusting unless there is a significant temperature change.
Hello, welcome to the forum, Merry Christmas to you.
I quickly edited lesson 17 and added a solution to your question using automation.

Thanks for the advice.
If I read the automation correctly, the approach is that when the temp drops below 20 to set the valve to 24, which is higher than the off condition at 21 which then sets the valve back to 13.
This way the valve target temperature is only ever fully open (24) or off (13), and the actual temperature at the radiator will heat up to 21, then cool down to 20, then heat up to 21 again, etc. Then the motor will only operate when the 20 or 21 thresholds are breached.
This makes sense - thanks for the suggestion!!
