Looking at the cameras you have.
I don’t see any outdoor rated cameras.
Is that something you are looking into?
Maybe a multi-sensor camera, where one is stationary and the other can move and be controlled remotely.
I spoke to soon and do see exterior rated cameras.
Are they compatible with RTSP? Can they stream to Blue Iris Software?
Aqara cameras that support RTSP include G5 Pro/G100/G410 (Wired Power Mode) and upcoming new cameras. I haven’t seen any explanation on the Blue Iris official website about their support for RTSP. Of course, if you’re sure it supports it, I don’t think there’s any problem because Aqara cameras support the standard RTSP protocol. However, it should be noted that each Aqara camera has a random username and password when RTSP is turned on, which you need to read from the Aqara Home App and enter them into the Blue Iris software.
Thank you for the response Aqara cameras’ have a random username and password??? Seems very strange Isn’t there a root or admin account that can be used to authenticate?
Blue Iris supports RTSP, ONVIF, TCP/UDP on a lan and or wan. Just has to be configured correctly. (IE: change IP address to a static one and change the port the camera is using if you have multiple devices. Will have to cross that bridge when I get to it.
