Homekit rules don’t work given this issue - I’m in the room can see myself on the map but status remains absent

I have a similar situation, I have my FP2 set to turn lights on and off, its detects me entering the room but doesn’t register/trigger the lights on, but it does turn them off the millisecond I get near the door to exit.
