My G3 camera disconnected from wifi and stopped responding. Now when I try to reset it, it just flashes red and nothing else happens. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there a fix?
@slificek It sounds like you’re experiencing some connectivity issues with your G3 Camera Hub. While the reference information doesn’t specifically mention red flashing lights, it does cover general troubleshooting for cameras that are offline. Here are a few steps you might find helpful:
-
Check Power Supply: Ensure that the camera hub is plugged in and receiving power. Look for any power indicator lights to verify it’s on.
-
Restart the Camera Hub: Unplug the camera hub from the power source, wait about 10 seconds, and then plug it back in. This can sometimes help reset the device.
-
Check Internet Connection: Make sure your internet connection is stable. Verify if other devices connected to the same network are online.
-
Reboot Your Router: Try restarting your router by unplugging it for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in to resolve any connectivity issues.
-
Firmware Updates: Ensure that the firmware of your camera hub is up to date. Use the Aqara Home app to check for and perform updates.
