I installed the G5 pro camera yesterday and set it up to notify and record during the night should anyone enter my garden, in the detection region setting I set it to ignore the road and side gardens, so only monitor my garden, but this morning I saw it recorded and notified me about a person walking down the road.
The road should have been excluded though.
The camera software is fully up to date.
Is there something I’m missing.
Can you please paste a screenshot of the ‘detection region’?
Also, from my experience, sometimes it’s helpful to restart the camera.

The clear boxes should be ignoring the road and other gardens.
Try to remove the most upper line of squares.
From my experiences with two G5s this will solve your problem.
And of course it will still detect all movements in your yard/garden properly.
Sorry can you explain in more detail please, not sure what you mean by remove the upper line of squares.
Do you mean along the top of the wall.
Explanation:
The pixels are overlapping a bit.
That’s why I guess you will get here also some false detections. I would remove these two square boxes as well.
But try and play around a bit with it until you will find your suitable setting.
