Ethernet, camera and Zigbee work correctly. My FP300 sensor is connected via Zigbee. I have already restarted the camera and PoE equipment without success.
I bought the G5 Pro PoE specifically to use Matter over Thread, including two Thread relay modules.
Has anyone encountered error 10033? Is this a firmware issue, or could the Thread module be defective?
I have attached screenshots showing the empty Thread network information and the error.

Hi, I’m following up on this issue. AqaraBot stated that a support ticket was created and that I would be contacted within two business days, but I have not received any response yet. The Thread network still cannot be initialized and Error 10033 is still present. Could someone from Aqara support please check the ticket status?
From October 1st to 7th, the “Golden Week” is being celebrated, so it is possible that the support staff are on holiday. During this seven-day holiday period, the founding of the People’s Republic of China is celebrated.
Does the error message appear when you click the “Create and join” button under → Network Information → Thread Network Management?
Is IPv6 enabled on your home network? If you’re not sure, check to see if your smartphone has an IPv6 address. If you don’t know how to do that, let me know what kind of phone you have (Apple or Android)?
Yes, error 10033 appears when I click “Create and join” under Network Information → Thread Network Management.
I have also checked IPv6. My home network currently does not assign an IPv6 address to devices on the LAN/Wi-Fi. I also tested using a mobile hotspot, but the connected device still received only IPv4.
Does the Aqara G5 Pro require IPv6 on the home LAN in order to create its own Thread network? Could the lack of IPv6 on my LAN be the reason for error 10033?
Yes. If you’d like to know more about this, check out my guide on Matter and Thread:
That could probably be the reason for the error message. I can’t say for sure, though, since I couldn’t find any information about that error code. The code isn’t listed in the API’s error code list either, but if you enable IPv6 on your home network router and the error goes away, then that was definitely the cause.
Thread devices communicate only over IPv6 so the G5 will beg to be able to do so to add the devices it connects to over Thread to your existing network. Can you try enabling it and see if that fixes the issue?
