Hello all! I have recently decided to standardize my smarthome environment with Aqara and Homekit. I have a few g3 Cameras, just ordered an outdoor camera to test and have the fingerprint door lock. Excited about the thermostat, to get these ecobee’s out of here. What are some other products I should try?

The door and window sensors are a favorite in our home! We set up an automation for a chime to play and an alert to our phones whenever one of toddlers tries to make a break for it.

Do you need a hub for the sensors to work?
The older door and window sensors: yes, an Aqara hub
The new P2 sensor: it needs any Thread border router, it can connect directly to any Matter ecosystem (like HomeKit, Smart Things, Aqara etc), basically also yes, but you’re not tied to Aqara
But the G3 cameras are actually 2in1 - a camera and a hub. You don’t need to buy any other hub if you want to use Zigbee Aqara devices. So you can just buy the sensors and you don’t need to buy another hub
