So I have some Aqara cameras and sensors on my network and have Apple Homekit running fine (Apple TV and Homepods acting as the hubs). I installed an Aqara Hub M3 thinking I needed it for Matter integration into Home Assistant… will the M3 and Homekit hubs now be “fighting” for HA integration? Not having much success accessing any Aqara stuff from HA right now.

Hi, in such setup i’d do the following: use the Home Assistant Matter integration and add the Aqara M3 as a Matter bridge (it may hide some Aqara-specific features, but not that annoying). For Apple/HomeKit devices, pair HomeKit accessories directly to Home Assistant using the HomeKit Controller integration (you must unpair them from Apple Home first). Due to Apple’s very strict API, you might have to do some extra homework with your Apple TV and HomePod devices, as these are not included in the official API.
