I recently set up a system in my bathroom where the light should turn on when motion is detected and turn off after a minute of inactivity. While it works most of the time, there are occasional instances where the light doesn’t activate even though the sensor is triggered. I’m a bit puzzled and would appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this.
Here’s a bit more about my setup: I have an Aqara motion sensor paired with an Aqara light bulb. The automation rules are straightforward, with triggers for both motion detection and inactivity. I’ve double-checked the sensor placement to ensure it’s within the optimal range and unobstructed. Additionally, I’ve reviewed the automation rules to confirm they’re correctly configured and have even reset both devices to their factory settings in hopes of resolving the issue.
I’m wondering if there might be something I’m overlooking, such as signal interference or a firmware update that could improve performance.
