Aqara Multi-State Sensor P100 – Be the First to Try

Hello,
I’m from Italy and I’d like to test the P100 sensor.

Hi there! I’m from Germany and really excited about the chance to test the new sensor  I already have a few fun ideas for how I could use it – for example, to detect when I’m sitting at my desk, to automatically turn on the lights at the kitchen counter when someone starts working there, or even just to monitor the door. There are so many possibilities, and I’d love to experiment with them!

Hi
Really intrested to try this. My cats stand up with their front pours against the patio door when the want to come in the house via the “Human operated cat portals” As my back is towards them I dont always see them quickly. Would be great to find out if they are sensitive enough to pick up on the thud from them so I can get a notification. I would also use one to track the garage door opening and closing.

Cheers

Mike

Hi! This is an interesting device. I’m in the UK and I have a few ideas to test this out.

I’m an Apple Home user and I also have a few Aqara wall Outlets H2 UK installed around my kitchen and I’d love to test this with a few different devices for example a coffee machine when it’s opened to insert the cartridge it will power on the electrical socket for a set duration. Also interested in testing on the letterbox to know when it’s been opened. And for the fridge or freezer door to make sure it’s closed and to record when it’s opened and for how long.

So many use cases to think about.

Maybe a vibration alert if the home NAS is knocked or had any movement at all. It’s sensitive to knocks when it reading/writing data.

Could log and remind me to check the dust bag in the dock for my robot vacuum it’s requires a manual check every few months.

I’m sure there are many more uses I could come up with

Germany.

I would be interested in a poatbox automation.

I live in Belgium, I move to a new house in 1 month so my possibilities to try this P100 are endless! Eg. dryer, washingmachine, dishwacher, in postbox, all the doors/windows, garage door, attic stairs hatch, backyard gate, safe, rainwater pump, …

I am in the United States and I am interested in the trial. I would use it in my living room to turn off the TV and lights when there isn’t anyone in the room.

Hello from New York, United States.
I would love to be one of the first to try this sensor on my main entrance door by creating automations throughout the day when the door is opened/closed.
Thanks for the opportunity!

I am from Sweden.
I want to test it with incoming mail in the mailbox and when the washing machine has finished. I use all sorts of smart connections from Apple home and Google, use many Aqara products that would be interesting to test with.

Hey from Greece! I would really like to experiment :upside_down_face:

Buenos días,

Estoy interesado, soy de España. Lo usaría como complemento de la alarma, así se activaria antes de la apertura de la puerta. También lo usaría para detectar si el objeto al que lo pego lo mueve alguien.

Un saludo.

Hi I’m from the UK and would love to participate in this trial. I would use the multi state sensor to check when mail is put through the letterbox and alert, possibly to activate doorbell camera to monitor activity. When door open, if dark, put the porch and hall lights on.

Hello Aqara team,

Country: United Kingdom
Registering interest to test the P100.

I’ll evaluate multi-dimensional detection across Door/Window and Object modes, focusing on real-world reliability and automation value.

Key Tests
• Door/Window: Entry open/close, tilt/ajar alerts (front/patio doors, skylights/windows).
• Object: Vibration (washer cycles, mailbox), orientation/tilt (artwork, cabinets, bike/heater), drop (shelf items), tamper alerts.

Automations
• Security alerts with camera snapshots.
• Lighting scenes on entry/exit after sunset.
• Washer “cycle finished” notifications.
• Parcel delivery alerts.

Reporting
• Sensitivity tuning and false-positive control.
• Mounting best practices.
• Response time, battery life, stability.
• Aqara Home/hub integration notes.

I’ll share setup photos, automations, and UX recommendations.

Would love to contribute to product improvement prior launch :raised_hands:

Poland,I will join. I will try with my son desk chair to monitor movement and deflection level

I’d love to be apart of this trail, I’m in HTX, :us:.

Hey from Poland,
I can’t wait to test it with my ideas so washing/drying machine, post box, and to window if it’s close, open or tilt

Would love to test this out!!

I’d love to try this, I have a lot of initial thoughts on its use but will come up with a bunch of others I’m sure - in the U.S.

I’d try it on obvious things like the mailbox, washing machine/dryer, maybe securely attaching it to the trash bin. Would see if it works on the litter box, to make a ‘dumb’ litter box smarter. I’d have to think more about this, but I have a bunch of animals that come around at night (rabbits, raccoons, opossums, foxes, cats, etc.) and it’d be nice to be able to trigger an action if I put food/water out for them. I have an Aqara doorlock and interior camera, so maybe something that would integrate with them. So many options!

I’m in. I plan to install the P100 on a frequently used interior door and also test it on movable objects (e.g., a cabinet door and a drawer) to evaluate open/close accuracy, orientation changes, vibration, and drop detection. I run an established Aqara setup integrated with Apple Home via HomeKit/Matter and can provide clear, real-world feedback on setup, reliability, and automations.

I’d love to try this out! I’m in the US. I plan on using for my windows and doors all over my home!
