Aqara P1 Sensor problem

Hello,

I’m experiencing a persistent issue with my Aqara Motion Sensor P1 connected to an Aqara Hub M3.

The sensor randomly removes itself from the hub after a few hours or sometimes after a day, without any manual action. It completely disappears from Aqara Home and needs to be re-added.

I have already tried the following:
• Replacing the battery with a brand new high-quality CR2450
• Pairing the sensor very close to the hub
• Updating firmware on both Hub M3 and Motion Sensor P1
• Ensuring strong Zigbee signal and no distance or interference issues
• Avoiding removing the device from Apple Home (only managed via Aqara Home)
• Resetting and re-pairing multiple times

Despite all this, the issue continues.

This seems like a hub-side or firmware-related problem, as the sensor works normally until it suddenly gets removed by the hub itself.

Could you please advise if this is a known issue with Motion Sensor P1 + Hub M3, or if there is a firmware fix or workaround?

Thank you.

@alperengmssyy You seem to be experiencing an issue with the Aqara Motion Sensor P1 randomly removing itself from the Hub M3. You can contact customer support for assistance. Contact the Aqara Home App Customer Service Team (Profile> Help & Feedback > Customer Service) or scan the QR code:

Hello, welcome to the forum. Most likely this is a problem with the sensor. The reset button is stuck on it, maybe partially stuck. This failure simulates physically pressing the reset button, which leads to the removal of the device. If the sensor is under warranty, then replace it. For information, I had this with a temperature sensor.
