Well with over 2000 and counting views to the announcement and the amount of ‘me please’ replies I think Aqara need to rethink this 100 pre release spots as they are going to annoy an awful lot of disappointed people. Suggest you get around 5000 units ready as soon as possible which I expect will be sold out within days, if not hours after launch, I for one will be getting at least 6 when available.

I agree. Already 9.3k views and likes, so the majority will be disappointed when only 100 spots are available. Would be Nice if Aqara will expand or offer any other rewards such as a discount for the final release.

Well I think my estimate of 5000 needs to be increased to around a minimum of 10000 and I don’t think they can supply that amount in a short time. If this FP300 really is as good as they say then it will be a massive hit and most probably kill the FP1 and FP2 sales to a trickle for those that can hide the wire, having both models in places that can hide the wires and have power they are great but some places just cant be hidden or have power and having use the Xiaomi version of the FP300 it is a game changer once you go through hell and back and have a strong bluetooth signal, these being zigbee or matter completely changes that hurdle and I cant wait to install a lot of these and remove my existing zigbee motion sensors.

I have not looking into all the finer details yet, but I am sure the FP2 will have its own space as the FP300 is not replacing all its features as far as I know. There’s presumably limitation caused by the “battery” approach.
