Aqara rocker switch keeps disconnecting from system

I have an Aqara mains rocker switch (with neutral wire) that will only stay connected to the hub for a day or so before it has to be repaired. Bad device?

I have about 10 other switches that stay connected.

@aaronweissman It’s frustrating when one device doesn’t behave like the others, especially when you have multiple switches that work perfectly. From the reference information, it seems like your Aqara Smart Wall Switch might be going offline due to a few common reasons. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Distance from Hub: Ensure that the problematic switch is not too far from the hub. It might be worth moving the hub closer to this particular switch to see if that resolves the issue.

  2. Network Stability: Check if the Aqara hub itself is experiencing any connectivity issues when the switch goes offline. If the hub is also going offline, it might be a network-related issue. Switching to a different Wi-Fi network or creating a Wi-Fi hotspot with your phone to test could provide more information.

  3. Firmware Update: Make sure that the firmware of the wall switch is up to date. An outdated firmware can sometimes cause connectivity issues.

If you’ve tried all the above and the issue persists, there might be a specific problem with the device itself. In such a case, it could be beneficial to contact the customer service team for further assistance. @aaronweissman Your Aqara mains rocker switch (with neutral wire) disconnecting might be due to a few common reasons. First, it could be too far from the hub—try moving the hub closer to the switch. Second, check if the hub itself is offline when the switch disconnects (though since your other 10 switches stay connected, this is less likely). Additionally, ensure the switch’s firmware is up to date. These are typical causes for offline issues with similar Aqara wall switches .

Since your other switches work fine, you could also try temporarily moving this specific switch closer to the hub to test if it stays connected. If the problem persists after checking these steps, it might indicate a device issue. Feel free to share your experience if you try these solutions—other community members might have similar tips!
