Aqara S1e Magic switch offline from time to time

Hi Gurus,

I have an Aqara S1e magic switch less than 3 meters away from my wireless router. It is connected to 2.4Ghz WiFi. This switch seems to go offline suddenly from time to time and I have no idea why. The hub is connected all other switches are connected. A restart of the S1E switch would get it back online. The pain is we have to manually go to the switch and reboot it when it fails connection.

  • Does any one has such experience?
  • Does anyone know IF it goes offline, can we set an automation for it to reboot please?

Such an issue suddenly happened or just happened in recent days? if move the router closer to the S1E would solve the issue?

It happened once in a while. Cant say recent, so far 3 times thru out this two years. The first time it happened was last year 2024. My router is less than 3 meters away and within line of sight. The other Hub E1 has no problems ever since i use it.
