Hey , Share some fun ways I’ve been using my Aqara sensors around the house. I’m no tech wizard, just a smart home enthusiast who likes tinkering. Thought some of you might find these ideas handy or even get inspired to try your own.

  1. Closet automation – Added a door sensor + motion sensor combo so the light only turns on when I open the door AND enter. No more lights staying on when I just open and forget to close.

  2. Laundry hack – Vibration sensor on the washer has been a game changer. I get a notification when the spin cycle ends. No more “Did I finish the laundry 3 hours ago?” moments.

  3. Sleep mode magic – I stuck a door sensor on my bedroom door. When it closes after 10PM, lights dim, bedroom AC turns on and phone goes to Do Not Disturb via HomeKit. Feels like a hotel, not even kidding.
