Hi everyone, I’ve been using the Aqara smart plugs with Zigbee2mqtt and Home Assistant for a while now, and they’ve been performing exceptionally well. However, I’ve recently encountered an issue that’s been a bit of a puzzle. Two of my plugs have notified me that there’s a firmware update available. Excited to get the latest features and improvements, I went ahead and tried to update them.
But here’s where things got tricky. Every time I press the update button, nothing happens. I’ve tried moving the plugs closer to the Zigbee2mqtt stick, thinking maybe signal strength was an issue, but that didn’t make a difference. They still won’t update.
I’m curious if anyone else has faced this challenge. Have you encountered similar issues with firmware updates on Aqara devices? Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated! I’m hoping to get these plugs updated soon to ensure they’re running smoothly.
