I recently installed the Aqara Smart wall switch - No neutral single rocker.
This item is a game changer for those places that do not have a neutral wire - as adding one is expensive, and most smart switches require one.
I have installed many smart switches in my day but I’m just a homeowner and certainly not an electrician.
I have installed all other switches with no difficulty.
A single pole switch does a simple thing so you would think the instructions could be clear and easy to follow.
I found that not to be the case.
The manual simply says: “install the smart switch and connect the wires as required.”
That tells me next to nothing!
Given that this was my first no neutral swtich I had to resort to Chat GPT to make sure I was doing it correctly. Aqara, please put some more effort into the instructions
And…. There are no instructions on how connect the inner plate to the main switch. I only noticed that in passing on one of the amazon videos about the switch.
