Aqara smoke sensor not seen in HomeKit

I installed the smoke sensor in the aqara app. It acts as a bridge to HomeKit. Any idea the reason it is not visible in the Apple HomeKit?

How did you get the sensor into the Aqara app? Which hub? The hub normally syncs automatically with HomeKit and should be visible. Please go through ALL your rooms in HomeKit and pay attention to the overview at the top of the rooms. That’s where the sensors are displayed. Usually on the far right.

The hub is aqara M3. The M3 is visible in the HomeKit while the smoke sensor isn’t.

It seems the hub didn’t sync automatically. I tried to restart the M3 twice but still the problem persists.

I also have the M3 Hub and 4 Smoke Sensors. All my Sensors are correctly deteced via HomeKit. But at the first inplemantation ALL Devices are in the standard room or living room. Please Check all your rooms and pay attention to the overview at the top of the rooms !

Before you start from new, start your Router and your Apple Boarderrouter (HomePod Mini, Apple TV)new.

Otherwise unbind/delete the M3 in HomeKit and then delete the HomeKit Integration in the Aqara App (Menue in the M3 Hub). Start your Router, your boarderouter (HomePod Mini…)and the M3 hub new and start the HK Integration VIA THE M3 Hub New and please scan the korrekt Code.

No. U are in the overview of your hole HOUSE. Please go into your rooms “Entertainment Room”, “Main Bedrom” (based on your Screenshots) and their u have to check the Symbols in the overview. I wait here… Go go go

Thank you so much for the detailed answer. Both The AppleTV and HomePod were reset. Also I deleted all the accessories from the HomeKit, reset the hub and reconfigured the AppleTV and HomePods. As shown in the picture (as before), I can see the aqara water leak logo that was installed but still the smoke detector is missing.

Sorry, but what do you mean “check the Symbols in the overview”

I suspect you’ve already integrated the smoke sensor correctly, but you might be looking for it in the wrong place. The smoke sensors don’t appear in the home overview, but only when you access a room. Your screenshots are of the entire house overview, not of a room like “Bedroom” or “Entertainment” room. Click on the arrow to the right of the word “Entertainment Room” so you can see EVERYTHING. And then look at the top bar to see what you see. Please do this for all rooms and search for the sensor.
