From the US here, this would be very useful in my new Home Assistant and Apple Home environment I am setting up. I am considering a few use cases.
United States. Applying for the FP400 trial – very interested in the dual-protocol mmWave presence sensing.
I have an FP2 and would love test the new FP400. Based in Austria! Let’s go Aqara!
Count me in for testing an FP400…I have an M3 hub!! Cheers
Count me in!
It would be incredible to test the FP400.
I have a fairly comprehensive smart home ecosystem and I am eager to put spatial detection to the test in complex presence automations.
I would be more than happy to share my detailed feedback with the community if chosen!
Bien sûr
Je l’ajouterais dans la partie consacrée à la sécurité et aux automatisations, pour montrer que ton installation est assez complète :
Hi! Thanks a lot for your message and the kind words! ![]()
My setup is actually spread throughout the whole house rather than concentrated in just one room.
I have Aqara devices in the living room, kitchen, hallways, bedrooms, basement, garden and around the entrance.
Everything is built around my M3 Hub, and I also use Apple Home/HomeKit as part of the ecosystem. I’ve got a mix of presence sensors, door and window sensors, smart switches and lights, water leak sensors, smoke detectors, a smart lock and doorbell, among other devices.
I also have Aqara G5 Pro cameras connected via PoE, which are integrated into my security setup and send me alerts when activity is detected. ![]()

Automation is really the part I enjoy the most. For example, I use presence detection to automatically turn lights on and off, and my window sensors are integrated into my routines as well. When I leave home, I get an alert if any window has been left open, which is incredibly useful with several windows around the house.
If I get the chance to test the FP400, I’d probably start by putting it in my basement or one of the hallways to control the lights automatically. I’d be especially interested in seeing how accurate and responsive the presence detection is in real everyday use, and how it compares with my FP300.
My Aqara ecosystem is definitely still growing
. I really enjoy adding new devices and finding new ways to connect them together, so I’m sure the FP400 would quickly become an important part of my automations.
And I completely understand what you mean about things getting more complex than expected
— once you start building automations, there’s always another idea to try!
Thanks again, and good luck to you with the trial too! ![]()

Hi, I am from Germany.
I have 7 Apple Thread Border Routers and use them in the Apple ecosystem and with Home Assistant.
I already have an Aqara P300 and round about 20 Aqara bulbs. All devices are paired via Matter over Thread. Overall I have 75 Matter over Thread devices.
Maybe this setup is relevant for you. If so, I am happy to share my feedback after the product launch. ![]()
Hey friends ! I have the m3 and over 30 aqara accessories and growing . Would love to try this bad boy ! Based in France ![]()
Hi there. Already have hub M3, presence sensor FP2 and multiple h&t sensors as well as window door sensors. I’m thrilled about FP4.
Cheers from Portugal!
I would Like to join from Germany.
I’m happy to add it to my setup.
Estonia
Im looking forward to the FP400 !
I’d use it in my celllar and love to join testing program.
I use a FP300 in my hallway (thread)
I’m in France
I’m a BIG fan of the FP2 and FP300. So I’m very curious about the FP400!
The FP2 works perfectly in my girlfriend’s bathroom; it turns on the fan when people take a shower. It NEVER misses and stays off when people just walk by the shower.
The FP300 is used in my bedroom and controls my lights. Love it!
I’d love to try out the sensor. I don’t have one yet, but I already have a few ideas for automation. I have an M3 hub. I’m from Poland.
UK with an M100 hub, would love to try
Hello,
I would love to try the new FP400 in the United Kingdom.
I have 2 x M200 hubs, 3 x FP300s of relevance. Would be keen to see if the FP400 can improve on the performance of my FP300 in one bathroom (currently I use it in tandem with a Philips Hue motion sensor to make it work as intended).

I’d absolutely love to be selected for the FP400 trial! I’ve previously used the FP2, so I’m particularly interested in seeing how much of a difference Aqara has managed to make with the FP400.
I’d love to put it through its paces with Home Assistant and real-world automations, especially testing stationary presence, movement between zones, detection speed and those tricky moments where presence sensors can get confused.
I’m genuinely curious to see how the new AI sensing algorithm performs in everyday use, and whether the FP400 can deliver the kind of reliable presence detection that makes you forget the sensor is even there.
I’ll definitely give it a proper workout ![]()

I’d definitely like to be considered for the FP400 Exclusive Trial!
I’m located in the United States and currently have more than the required 50 Aqara Forum Points, so I meet the participation requirements.
I’m especially interested in testing the FP400 because I already have extensive experience with Aqara products, presence sensors, Matter/Thread, Zigbee, and smart-home automations. I also have compatible Aqara hubs with which to test the FP400 and would be able to put its mmWave presence detection, spatial sensing, responsiveness, and automation performance through real-world testing.
I enjoy participating in beta and early-access testing and providing detailed, constructive feedback—not just whether something works, but how reliably it performs in everyday use and where there may be opportunities for improvement.
The combination of Zigbee + Thread, mmWave radar, and the upgraded AI sensing algorithm makes the FP400 particularly interesting to me, and I’d be excited to compare its capabilities with my existing presence-sensing setup.
I understand and agree to the trial requirements, including the confidentiality requirement prior to the FP400’s official release, and I’m prepared to provide a thorough review afterward.

Thank you for considering me for the FP400 trial!
Hello from Greece!! Looking forward for more!!
Excited to see how this works. M3 from Texas (USA)
