Aqara system stopped working completely…

Not sure what happened but my entire Aqara smart home just stopped working… Weird thing is I can still control my device via HomeKit but none of my Aqara automation is working….

I have the same issue at this moment. I’m so stupid that I actually deleted my hub and tried to readd it and of course it doesn’t work. I can’t even readd it.

Oh no… I think you will lose all your automations if you removed your hub :frowning:

Same issue here. It just went offline. I tried to restart it, nothing changed. It’s reported via matter that is alive, HomeKit works, home assistant as well. I guess we just need to sleep it over, it might come back in the morning
Interesting thing is, only M3 went offline. M2 and older camera hub are alive, and no issues reported on them.

Here the M3 became Off and I conect the M1S and its off too…
I unpair the M3, because I dont see this first… Have to pair all again :upside_down_face:

There’s a known issue currently affecting the Europe server, which Aqara has officially acknowledged on Reddit (from what I read on an other post.).

It seems part of Aqara’s cloud infrastructure relies on AWS, and since their experienced some outages yesterday and today, that could be the cause of the disruption.

Maybe it helps if you enable LAN control for now. It won’t work for the camera, but you should still be able to control most of your devices locally. Those with the LAN green logo…

Was this related to the major Amazon Web Services outage? A lot of places and platforms were experiencing outages.

I think I’m going to do my best to keep everything in my house local and private.

Yeah not as bad as I thought. Most of the automations are still working. I had to adjust a few gu10 bulbs. But that is about it. Luckily, I have two other hubs that were still working and not all devices are associated with this m3.

Im online now after few hours

I have LAN control enable for a while now, an everything was dead/offline (M3 Hub blinking blue, and when resetting it, it said “account binding failed”), I could not turn on the lights from the Aqara app (iOS phone) or from the mini switch’s that is used to turn them on/off.
Even my “touchscreen dial (V1 EU)” showed all the connected “LED bulb T2, and the “ceiling light T1M” as offline.

So apparently even in LAN mode, it needs something or a connection to the Aqara servers, just to turn on the lights in our home’s, then we are home pressing the button’s :grimacing:
