Aqara T1M stuck blinking blue – can’t pair with Hub M3

Hi,

I can’t get my Aqara T1M ceiling light to pair with a Hub M3.

The lamp is constantly blinking blue and is not discovered by the hub.

What I tried:

  • Multiple factory resets via 5× power on/off (but theres no change in the blue blinking)
  • Pairing via Aqara Home app (EU region, manual add via Hub M3)
  • Lamp placed close to the hub
  • Other Aqara devices pair and work fine

The light always returns to blue blinking and never pairs.

Is it possible the T1M is still bound to another Aqara hub/account (I bought it on amazon the package has been opened already), or does this indicate a defective unit?

Is there any reset/unbind method beyond the power-cycle reset?

Thanks for any help.

Hi! The T1M should after reseting set back to factory settings - there’s no binding to another account then…
How far away is the lamp to the hub? To which server ( location) is M3 bound?

Is the T1M light breathing after the reset?

What do you mean by that?

The T1M dies not make any effect other than flashing blue despite what I read online that it should be white after reset. Thats why I assume it’s stuck in pairing.

and I have tried multiple distanced between the hub and the lamp its unlikely its the cause.

Hello, welcome to the forum. Are you sure you have a fixture for the European region? There have been cases of devices being sold that are intended for the Chinese region. Such a device will not connect to a gateway in Europe.

Exactly! That’s why I supposed that it’s maybe the wrong server

okay so I should return to amazon.de and buy a new one?

Maybe show a video of it… So we can see more!
If it doesn’t help, then I would return
